Kids will be kids
Sometimes I just have to laugh at the funny little things my kids do. A few weeks ago 5 little baby ducks came to live at our house (under our trampoline, acutally). We'll eventually take them up to our family's ranch/cabin in Wyoming. But for now they just rome our yard. It's quite cute. We even have a kiddie pool for them to swim in that they love. Well this afternoon I was in my house and looked out the window to check on Kiaya and Whitney who were playing outside and saw Whitney sitting in the dirty, yucky swimming pool, with her clothes on and all, just hanging out. I'm laughing just thinking about it. I'm sure it was Kiaya that coaxed her to getting in, being the good
big-sister she is. :) Kids will be kids, right?

For all you Twilight fans
I am now reading through the Twilight series for the second time around so that I'm freshened up for the fourth book. So if you haven't had a chance to check out the movie in making this is an opportunity to. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page to view it. You'll have to pause the music (right below it) so you can hear it. It looks pretty good. I'm excited!

4th of July
Then later that afternoon we celebrated Kiaya's 6th Birthday. She will be in California vacationing with Grma & Grpa Richins over her real birthday, (July 9th).
That night we went 4-wheeling up Farmington Canyon with our friends Will & Heidi and had tinfoil dinners and s'mores. It was a blast and the view was amazing. All in all, it was a really good day.

How we got started...
Jon and I met in high school...Viewmont High. I can still remember the first time I saw him...he was walking into the school and I spotted his black cowboy hat he was wearing. I have a thing for cowboys so I decided to follow him. We ended up at the corner where all the hick-wanna-be's would hang out. He headed over to one of my friends and I found out later that he had a girlfriend. Too bad. But soon enough her and I became friends too. :)
We all hung out a few times and even ended up going to Prom in the same group. Then they broke up and his girlfriend mentioned to him that he should think about dating me. Was she a good friend, or what! Needless to say he was a little confused but we started going horseback riding together quite often and got to know each other better. I started liking him more and more.
Then he left on his mission to Louisiana and we wrote the entire time he was gone. We got to know each other better than before through our letters.
When he came home he was a little strange, like all RM's so it took about 9 months from before we started dating. After we got the ball rolling it all went pretty quick. We were engaged 4 months later and married the next June. My dreams had come true!
Now we have three Beautiful girls: Kiaya-6, Whitney-2(almost 3), and Oakley-2 months. Also a dog, a cat, three horses, 27 chickens, 5 ducks and a partridge in a pear tree.
I love my life!!
